Blue Oak Press is currently researching the feasibility and interest in a South Asia Women Poet Anthology. This anthology would bring together women poets from the western United States who trace their roots to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Laos, Tibet, Malaysia, Iran, the Philippines and other “south” Asian countries. The anthology would feature both new and established voices who share a heritage of striving for identity in this new world of numerous languages, cultures and faiths. We hope to include a variety of both traditional, free verse and experimental writing.
